Slam Poetry at UNL

The organization is organized exclusively for, and will be operated for, one or more of the following purposes: charitable, religious, educational, scientific, literary, testing for public safety, fostering national or 75374 amateur sports competition (but only if none of its activities involve providing athletic facilities or equipment) and/or the prevention of cruelty to children or animals. This organization's purpose is for the advancement of the skill of slam poetry, among its members and to promote awareness of slam poetry in the general population of University of Nebraska-Lincoln students. Activities will include writing and performing slam poetry, exchanging criticism, and holding informal and potentially formal poetry slams. All of these activities are directed with the intent to take a select team to College Union's poetry Slam Invitational which is hosted by the Association of College Union's 75374 (ACUI).
